Theoretically all that can run on the hardware. You can mount any ISO file using the KVM console and boot from it. Our comfortable automatic installation via PXE is possible with just a few clicks, we provide popular Linux distributions, Windows and Proxmox.

Are the server prepaid or do I need to close a contract?

You close a contract with a period of one month. The payments are due upfront for every month. The contract extends automatically for another month if not cancelled, which is possible anytime to the end of the current period.

What are servers in stock and do they come with disadvantages?

Servers in stock were built for and cancelled by a customer. Usually, they are not configurable. If the configuration matches your needs, this is not a real disadvantage. You even have some advantages: The system is ready instantly after successful payment. Often, servers in stock are cheaper, because they may have older hardware and get cheaper over time. This hardware of course does its job, if there are any problems, it is going to be replaced free of charge. Some servers in stock can be upgraded by you. These are still delivered instantly, the upgrades will be done as soon as possible.

Can I get additional IP addresses or may I use my own ones? Is a BGP session possible?

Both: Here you can get additional IP addresses from us. If you own IP addresses, we can announce them, even with your own AS. Please contact our support in this case to speak about details and pricing. We can even offer you BGP sessions.
